Greetings everyone,
I'm Jess, a 30-year-old from Armidale, NSW. I have a passion for gemstones and enjoy studying geography. Currently, I'm planning a night camp at Torrington, a place I haven't visited in about 7-8 years. I'm curious if any of you have been there recently and could share your feedback.
Another question I have is about the likelihood of finding nice specimens at Torrington, considering its rich history of mining. I'm confident in my orienteering skills and have experience in bush navigation, so I'm willing to dedicate time to explore. Is the surface entirely reshuffled material, or are there indicators one can still use?
Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jess
