hi everyone,
me name is Luke if you dint get that by looking at my user name . i'm a complete newbie to this, looking to do mostly panning around the area when ever i get the chance to but i don't know where to start, so i have two main questions.

: can i go to any old public river and get my panning on??
: and do i need the permit if i'm just doing it recreational??

Hi Luke,

The members on the forum in the Cairns area meet up at the Red Beret Hotel every couple of months. A post normally gets put in the Members Only section under Member Meet ups a couple of weeks before. You can access this section after you have 10 posts up.
