Hello everyone,
I've recently become rather interested in prospecting for gold. I decided to dip my toe in the water (not just figuratively either, a snowy day in Daylesford is not the best time to fall into a creek) and try my hand at panning.
This was fun, but my dodgy knee was getting rather upset at all the squatting. The idea of walking around the bush, waving a detector is more appealing.
So I am doing a lot of research and getting a bit of info overload.
In the meantime, if anyone knows where to hire a detector around the Bendigo, Ballarat, GT region, that would be appreciated. I would be especially keen if there are different types available so I can see if I would be content with a VLF detector. Budget is definitely limited.
Any and all advice is welcome.
Cheers,
Tim.
