Might try that SS, there's no real trick to it though, my settings are the same but my swing speed is slowed right down and really double checking false high tones, any target that hits steadyish numbers I dig. :Y:
Dear Mr Heatho, Let's try a different tact. ]
I think your being modest when you say "there's no real trick to it though".
Sure anyone can switch on a nox, perform a noise cancel and ground balance, start swinging and find targets. But, the trick, is to find quality targets, consistently, in all ground conditions and site types, with the best target to junk ratio possible.
Now i'm no slouch when it comes to hunting, i can match it with the best,
but there's always that next level i seem to need to get to.
I have a handfull of sites i've visited numerous times, that i just can't seem to find targets at. Good ol logic tells me, that, with the huge amount of human generated junk targets, accumulated over a vast amount of years, there just has to be good targets dropped as well.
Well i want them
So, here is my opportunity to learn how to detect these sites from a junk site specialist
Now, i'm sure there is no real trick to it, but, i'm left wondering if my idea of a slow swing speed is the same as yours ? Are our methods for checking false high tones the same ? and if not what's the best method. Are our interpretations of "Steadyish" numbers the same?
The best way for me to verify this is to watch the master at work. 8) So please, please, please would you do a video of your junk site hunt just for little ol squirrel, so that i might be able to pick up a tip (or is that a trick) or two. :Y:
I await your favourable response.
Regards, SS.
