Yeah yeah third world and all that ***** You just need to know where to go to get a filling for $18 :lol: Last work I had done was a three piece bridge, completed at 6pm Sunday as was flying out the next day. Try and get that service in the mighty land of Oz

Air Asia $400 return, motel $30 a night, meal at restaurant $15, pkt cigarettes or a beer $1 plus a 10 day holiday with a root canal with crown under $1400 total against 3.5 to 5 K in Oz for just the tooth? Knock ya self out

Over the years. have had 4 implants(Screw and Cap), around $5500 each, each done over 2 years so get back $1000x2 from Bupa. Like local support, used an electrical tooth brush until the penny dropped, the electric TB loosens the cap retaining screws, one came loose on a Scenic cruise between Amsterdam and Budapest/then Prague, needed to take penicillin to stop the infection. The other came loose going across the straight to Tassie, had this loose thing in my mouth and it was the cap.

Never had private health insurance, had plenty of excellent care over a few incidents.
Only needed selective procedures twice ( me once and daughter once).
And like everyone else, Doctors like cash. Straight in each time.
