Minelab Have we reached the end of the line for the GPX5000?

Not much point keeping a production line running if the market is flooded.
If sales are down it doesn't mean it's not a great detector.

You can still buy a 2nd hand 5000 for 3-4k here, they are a great detector but maybe not so popular in the U.S.

Doesn't seem like the 6000 or the 7000 is enough to replace the GPX series, I hope they continue to make these detectors.

I'll reckon every 3 prospector has got one in there arsenal that been in the game, and there's still a place for them out in the field, for probably 10 good reasons ,ive still got a soft spot for them but your right I reckon sales will slow down, when you areally got four detectors out there for gold and you have the other brands too

After getting the 5000 modded, you will have the best detector in the world..beats the 6000 and 7000.
