New to the forum and just wanting to say hello. We (my family and I), hail from Townsville.
We Love our camping, but now looking to get off the beaten track a bit. Ive never studied geology, but am fascinated at times with this great diverse country of ours.
Hoping to get out and see, learn, and teach our daughter new things. Maybe even find a few specimens to put on the shelf to boot!
Not sure that I would have too much knowledge in this area to pass on to others at this point, but in time it would be satisfying to pass it along to other newbies.
