Is Green Hills State Forest in NSW near Batlow/Adelong any good for gold detecting. Have been studying maps but a bit unsure.

Have been looking at various maps and looks like there has been gold there in the past so might check it out.

Definitely cold there Makka been trail bike riding in the past in the mountains there in winter.

From what I have seen out there, it's more alluvial gold in that area.

Will also depend on what detector you are running as to the size of picers that you may get.
