Gpx5k lcd questions

Have loaned my 5000 out so dont have it here to check, but the R in extra doesnt look right. Some one might want to switch theirs on and check.
Hopefully Ive just not paid too much attention and mine was the same but Ive never seen those icons and the alignment of the scrip with the borders just doesnt look right

This is normal.
The screen they use is also used in a sat phone or some such device.

Don't know why they went that way, it is a very odd unique screen and not easy to get a replacement if your're not Minelab.

The set up is awsome. The value of haveing multuple batterys at 40 bucks a pop is awesome
