Had a hunt with Jason this morning in a new area for us.
We started in a smallish area and the goldies started popping. Very good, that covered the fuel.
We stopped for a drink and started moving the other direction and Jason found the first pre dec of the day. After that it rained pre dec. We probably pulled 20 pre dec coins out if a 3 square metre area. Thinking possibly a ticket booth for a fair or circus at some point in time? Anyway it was one of our most productive hunts to date.
My best find was a "Royal Visit " commemorative florin. Which i scratched  oh well.

Well hunted ! 8) :p :D

Well done mate, very nice hunt, gotta love those special Florins, I found 1 once too, though yours is in better condition.

Pretty rare to find those commemorative florins in the field, even if it is scratched (bet there was a bit of swearing and cursing going on). ;)

With big silvers still left in the ground, there should be a good chance of picking up some more with some luck, keep us posted on how you go. :)
