Hog pan like a sluice will not handle clay too well, you'll have to break it up first. Good for gravels etc.

Hog pan is hands on back and forth, a sluice you can sit there and feed it.....all depends what you want. Doc say's the Hog pan is good for quick testing are's, so that is a plus if that's what you want to do.
