Gold bearing areas around Lilydale

Hi all. Next year I'll be working around Lilydale in VIC. Just wondering if any one knows of any gold bearing areas out that way.

Hi there Col, google or the search feature on this forum is your friend but as far as detecting goes the area would be a waste of time.
There's creek panning to be had in Warrandyte or the Yarra Valley but do our research as to where you can go in these areas as they do have restrictions.
