Admire you blokes getting on a bike! Used to be keen on cycling in Sydney back in the 70's and 80's, but had a few close calls in traffic.

Nowdays I keep pretty fit because of diabetes, but prefer lifting weights in the gym. Any more than 8 reps is cardio as far as I am concerned.

Went to get some chinese take-away on wednesday and this bloody clown was riding thru peak evening traffic in some drizzle, no lights, no fluoro gear --on a death wish.
We drivers would get the blame if he was squished. $%^&$@#

That's the problem. Unless it's a Sachs engine or electric motor built specifically to meet Australian Compliance most motor kits put out way more than 200w of power. The 2 stroke rice burners on Ebay like the one you have pictured could never be de-tuned to fit such a mediocre specification. They're putting out 10x the maximum power limit in an already anemic state of tune. If these kits were street legal I'd be using one instead of my 50cc scooter.

Great stuff Goldpick, I see your back in the Mount now, plenty of good rides around here. Up and around the blue lake is good and maybe up to the tower once you get over the jelly legs. Out in the pines looks the go though...good stuff! We will have to do a trip to the Vic goldfields soon

Thought it was time to have a seachange being in Adelaide for such a long time, so here I am back in my place of birth. :)
