Yep, that would be it. Looks like liquorice allsorts. Didn't take a photo of it. But it does have this stuff on the downhill side.

Another 3 hour stroll for Carol and I this morning. Carol got the top 2 and me the rest. The patch is running out.

Chert is what the locals made there stone tools out of,amongst other stuff but ive come across quite a few over the years,looks like quartz but it has a opaque texture kind of,stands out when ya see it,we found one spot up tunas way years ago,there was stone tools everywhere.......
