New member here from St Australia.
Just bought my first metal detector, an 'as new' Xterra 705 dual coil set up. I've spent around 6 hrs fossicing around my local area and have found a lot of crap but also some coins, old and new. I have enjoyed spending time with my children outside in the fresh air digging around and getting to understand how the detector works.
I have watched countless video's and read some interesting articles on how it works and what it can do.
I'm looking forward to spend some more time getting out and about and finding some more history with the family.
