a minelab Eureka from what i read bout them YUP a vac they SUK! :p :lol:
just kidding might be a bit of fun scratchin around for some relics as the area i currently live
in aint known for the shiney yellow stuff
and the last time i had a swing was when the SD2000 was new technology

I've got a Eureka humbolt which I havnt had the time to use much yet on the GT but when I did, though I'm still yet to find gold, I was digging lead shot from sneaky gaps and deep. If it gets lead shot..it will get gold. It did get a bit noisy on mineralised ground but I'm still new to swinging it.

I wave my sluiced alluvial gold under it and small nuggets and it picks them up just like the lead. Settings can take time to get used to for areas and what you want to do.

What's written online is very negative towards the eureka..I don't know why.
