G'day guys, another newbie here, been reading and researching and done a little panning to start with. Waiting for my new sluice to arrive in mail and can't wait to get out there with it! just wanted to say g'day and thanks to everyone here for the great insight and info! Happy prospecting to all This is what I've panned so far but don't really know some good creeks/rivers to go to in Vic. Hope to learn more places here with you guys

Welcome to the forum looks like you of to a good start already my advice is google as much as you can and borrow books etc it is amazing what an old book can teach you and sometimes it may be just a picture and then it all clicks
Good Luck hope you find heaps, and if you dont you will be healthier for trying so its a win win scenario
