u thought i would introduce myself ...my name is mick ..i first became interested on gpld a few years ago in brissy ....moved to melbourne had a try at gold in the triangle and in the creeks in gippsland ...got sick so moved to coffs to live with my daughter but all better now
as soon as i get myself a 4x4 i will try the areas inland from here litterd with old gold mines ...until then im having fun with gold on local beaches in the black sand .....not much there but its fun tho MOST of the area is supposed to be a marine park ...so need to watch myself even tho i make no more impression on the environment than a kid building a sandcastle
if any locals would like some company next time you go out i would be interested
