Gday all, newbie to the forum

Hi Guys,i am from the Hunter Valley in NSW , i have been detecting for a number of years and only just getting serious about it again with a new machine (xterra 305),big change from the days of using the Coin Magnum and the bounty hunter DE280 at the old Greta Migrant/army camp in the 1980's!!
Love reading the stories and tips on here, there really is a wealth of knowledge out there amongst the forum, and look forward to learning more and being in contact with like minded people. Happy Hunting

It's great to have another Hunter member in our midst.

A few members and I detected that very site only 12 months back, it's an amazing place with a lot of history.

Thanks for the welcome Nugget, that site produced some great finds for my father and I when we used to detect there, even a live hand grenade! I will post some pics of my finds from there in the relevant section soon, Look forward to crossing paths with you around the Hunter somewhere! Cheers matchy
