Fossicking & digging in Victoria

Hello everyone!! I'm a newbie & want to start some crystal digging anywhere in Victoria.
Does anyone know of any great spots an amateur can start?? Anything will help me, this is my first start!!

i'd be well interested in anywhere around creswick and daylesford that people might have spotted gems as well. i'm happy to find microscopic ones, though i dream of something i could show friends that didnt need a magnifying glass to see

I found these ones out creswick, just got to be persistent and learn more about stratifing with seives if you don't have a gem catching high banker or what not I'm still pretty new to the gems side myself

Has anyone heard about gems in the Glendinning area of West Wimmera or anything about the Kadnook Goldfields. Have been researching and these keep being mentioned but fleetingly.....
