First time post

G'day forum members. I have been reading all the information on This great website and am about to put it all to test. I have recently bought some property in the mid western regional area if nsw and was wondering if anyone has ideas about hitting new areas. There is a semi permenant stream running through the property that I Intend to start with.

Hi Zucco and welcome to the forum
Im sure you'll find lots of interesting information here.
As for your "dillema" start by studying your area and see if any gold was found there in the past. Look at maps and try to locate old mines or diggings in your area. If gold was found there before its a good place to start. If not but it looks promising then its time to do some "prospecting".
Ask some questions on the forum if you want to, but remember to keep locations close to your chest.
I hope you get some colour in your pan soon.
