First time detector from South Oz

Hi All, Have just taken ownership of a new GPX-4500 and keen to start planning my first trip. Already having a blast just doing the googling and google earth research From outback South Australia and ZERO experience but keen as mustard to get a lot of exercise, see a lot of country, oh and mabye stumble across some gold

Seeing as though your in SA & with zero experience then money well spent would be doing a training session with Nenad (PhaseTech) from the forum.

Good day mate..glad to see you got yourself a real detector...that's the best start...you need the best gear..join Gold detecting and prospecting forum..where you can download historical gold maps covering Aust to overlay hema maps or google earth..good luck with the hunt..
