First outing

Hi all finally had the chance to use the gp extreme this weekend after a few weeks of getting it no luck on the gold side but found a truck load of lead bullets and bits of wire but the best find was this cast bullet probably 45 or 50 cal

A 22 cal next to it for size comparison

Geez Ivo that bullet is huge, certainly looks like a .50 cal to me. Hopefully some gold appears soon for you mate.

I think that is what it was designed for.

Looks to me that it may have been cabin luggage from a U.S. confederate soldier trying to make his fortunes following the Civil war.

I am going to call it a .58 Gardner round, perfect for knocking over 6 kangaroos in one shot at 300 yards. ( or keeping claim jumpers honest)
