Yes I know it's a bit sad detecting your own back yard, but what else do you do whilst waiting for the Weber roast to cook! ;)

Considering I've found a few pre-decs here in the past, surely there would be some silver lying around. Thinking most of the larger targets have now been located, I took the Teknetics G2 for a run trying to pick out some high tones amongst the iron and junk targets. I managed to get a brief 81 ID right next to an iron target in the back corner of the yard, and surely enough it was 1942 threepence in great nick. I guess working over the back yard is worthwhile after all. :D

Hey GP nice back yard find ... But I am confused ... It seems that since you moved you have regressed back to step #1 (backyard under clothes line) - when will you start night lurking in the local parks?

Soon soon, an unscheduled hospital visit had curtailed any lengthy detecting sessions over the last few weeks, so will hopefully get back on the bandwagon again over the next week once fit for duties. ;)
