Yes I know it's a bit sad detecting your own back yard, but what else do you do whilst waiting for the Weber roast to cook!
Considering I've found a few pre-decs here in the past, surely there would be some silver lying around. Thinking most of the larger targets have now been located, I took the Teknetics G2 for a run trying to pick out some high tones amongst the iron and junk targets. I managed to get a brief 81 ID right next to an iron target in the back corner of the yard, and surely enough it was 1942 threepence in great nick. I guess working over the back yard is worthwhile after all.
