Big coinball for a small coin! Congrats on the .925 florin, that must have boomed through being only a couple of inches down. Is that an Oz Military Forces button on the far right?
Not sure silver it's to crusty to get anything off it. That's the second one I've found Goldpick, got my first one in july last year. There were two variants as far as I know. Silver and silver plated
Figured out it's a 1937 Coronation medal silver. Got out for a few hours over the weekend back at my fav spot, used a new silver mode that I made up with heavy discrim, combined tones, high trash target seperation and fast recovery
These were both just over the 8 inch mark, one in hard ground and were loud and clear. Pretty good for how much discrim I was running and with fast turned on
Always nice to find old silvers, just something about seeing that coat of arms and the realization moment ,... just the 6d's that keep the not sure happening for that bit longer, nicely found Cb !
I really like your fav spot, certainly got some pretty good gear coming from it, especially that coronation medallion. Also a nice contrast and bit of creativity with those blackened silvers on the leaves, works for me.
Thanks guys. The old man and I have pulled hundreds of coins out of this spot over the last two and a half years with the xterra's and 3030's. It never disappoints, plenty of silvers, medals, badges, got a WW1 rising sun there, you name it for high conductors. It's a ripper
