As most of you know im a newbie, i have to say a big thankyou to all that have posted tips and tricks that give noobs like myself great assistance in getting started and what to look for while out in the field. While perusing over the internet for the past couple of weeks, it amazes me how close areas to prospect are so close to home eg, diamond creek, panton hill, watsons creek and king parrot tributaries area that i have driven through countless times and never even having the thought that gold flows in those trickles we call creeks.

Yes i know i dont have any info that the majority of you dont already know but i will most certainly be happy to post anything that may be of interest to the group. Thanos in advance to all that throw any assistance my way when im stuck.

Your in a good location mate, the areas are found through lots of effort and time through most of the users who share that knowledge. I get a lot of my info from old books and assessments of geology, also with much help from the awesome members here and a never ending supply of prospecting info.

If you check out your local library and look for local written books and information on minerals, gold, tramlines, gems and all sorts of history that you could have even closer to home, you never know
