Extra Superb Button, anyone know how old?

Found this button on an old farmhouse anyone know much about it? Looks pretty cool.

Looks mid to late 1800's. Nice find

Not the same design but gives an indication of age. Extra superb seems to be a common backmark on a lot of military buttons of that era as well.

How old was the farmhouse?

Not entirely sure, the house was knocked down a couple years ago. I had to give up there was so much junk even with discrim it was impossible
