Hey all
Looking to do a bit of exploring old mining and industrial sites round NSW and not having any luck with finding leads. Guessing due to higher populations on the coast and old sites being cleared will have to head west?
Anyone got any ideas of leads/resources. I have an old landcruiser so offroad access isn't an issue.
I'm based near Morisset.
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum WanderOn,
Although I can't help you with any ideas as l live in Ballarat, I do like your thinking .
I'm sure that someone will send you in the right direction.
Good luck.
Cheers Steve

It's been decades since I've been there, but Yerranderie in the Blue Mountains may be worthwhile. You wouldn't be allowed to do any prospecting there but the ghost town has been well restored/maintained. They used to mine silver there.

Thanks Anolphart
Going to have a look. Heading out that way in spring.

Thanks Stoyve
Really friendly forum!

Bahahahahaha.
Going to play that when we head off. Should make for a good start to a 2 week road trip.
Might end up with the kids by myself.
