Hi Morgan82,
There are times when out detecting that you feel a bit like the Pied Piper, most kids are fairly polite, while others, a minority, can be a real pain in the butt; In recent times I have been approached by a couple of kids that would have to be a credit to their parents, they were the most polite children I have encountered anywhere not just while out detecting,it's always a pleasure to have them tag along for a while and even share some finds with them; I must add all this is in full view of parents/adults.

Morgan82 yeah along the lines of sinhof, most children are fine , will even let their parents put on the head phones then tell them to run the coil over their shoes . They are always surprised that there is a little metal in what their wearing.
