G'day all.
Pouring in Nth. Brissy at the moment, actually I don't think it has stopped since yesterday morning.
Looked at the rain gauge last night at 6 and it had 150ml from 6 the previous morning and just looked again and another 35ml.
Up north copped it bad looking at the telly and our prayers are with everyone.
The beaches are becoming eroded and looked at Shelley's Pier at Shorncliffe yesterday and where there was sand it is now small tiny boulders that could be hiding some interesting treasure.
Good luck hunting and stay safe people.
Remember: if it's flooded, forget it!
Cheers

Hi All
We live in Yeppoon I've been here for 16 years and haven't been through a cyclone I'm not sure what or how I will feel around 1am.

I hope we all get through it ok.

KIM-Margaret

Does anyone know if KIM-Margaret were affected.

Gympie is flooding they predict peak tonight! 2m less than the 100 year flood we got 3years ago... and its all going down the mary...omg!!

Thank god we have enough water to keep the dust down.. ;) we prayed for rain and we got it... :8 Australia, dust bowl one minute and bog hole the next.. :|

Just went and checked out deep creek fossicking area omg!! (Oh my goats) . ;)
It was a big lake! water level was at all gate entrances .
1800 regeneration trees gone!!! Silly council told'em... :|
Imagine a little tranquil creek full of life not now 35 foot of muddy water flowing through it is going to strip it clean back to mullock heap. Most of the old trees in the horse shoe are gone i think i saw one of them at kidd bridge 4mile down....it had a hammock in it...it was close to a massive bedrock wall where i was diggin....highway is officially closed both ways...towns folk are all needed to help evac all mary street buisnesses ...im checkin on the old digger next door and old val cross the road.
Mum n dads place is a bit tattered from storm but there high n dry i just gota get the tree outa the pool n patch some roof iron.
I love the way people band together in these times...the good people. :)
