Don't forget the Bats as well Jaros.. .
And Never park under a Mango tree during Fruiting... ;) See some bad damage from them...

Guess you could make Wine from them... They use every other fruit for wine... You would only need 6 or so Mangoes...

A lot of 'Backyard' Mango Trees are what they call 'Commons'... Stringy and Okish to eat... I used to get heaps and mix in a few Bowens with them and freeze for Mango Puree for all year enjoyment... :)

Some even eat them Green with a bit of Salt... I will Pass thank-you... :(

Whats the best part about eating a QLD Mango ?....... Wearing it all over your Face and Shirt...

Never tried to make plonk out of them deepseeker, bloddy thing was about 30 meters tall the one on the other side of the shed is bigger, it has to come down to, but it will be a high limb and pole saw job, got to take some of the canopy out first,or the misses might get upset if the orchard house goe's a bit flat ,no sense of humour sometimes :)

It's amazing the food going to waste in this country. Camel plagues, dropping Mangoes. Can you imagine sitting under the stars eating Camel steaks from the BBQ like the ones Madtuna showed us, washed down with a Mango wine? We could dine like Kings on the Feral and Wild stuff running around and growing out there.

There is a terrible waste of Food in this Country... I would love to try a Camel steak, but you won't keep me away from that Mango wine... :D

Thanks for the link Rockhunter... :Y:

Yes We do need a Mango Emoji... Just for the Mango lovers on here... :) We have a cake emoji, so why not a Mango one.. :koala:

I could just see Us now, out the front of Jaros's house with Placards, 'What Do We Want? A Mango Emoji, When Do We Want It, NOW'...

I hate it when you have a tree full of 'nubbings' and slowly over 2-3 weeks every single one, bar one drops off... You then nurture that lone Mango into a beautiful large fruit, only to have those Bloody bats get it one windy Night.... *******s...

We had a Bowen Tree on the fence line when we lived in Mackay... When one drops, it was a race between Neighbours to get it... We even moved our lounges in our lounge rooms so we both could watch that tree..

And here I was thinking that mango trees were only good for providing shade and supplying nice wooden forks for your slingshot. Never thought that people would make wine out of them let alone eating them, yuck.

Cheers

Doug
