At this time of year, for most it is a joyous time to be spent with family and friends. Catching up with new family members or just chewing the fat with mates. For many unfortunately this is a very sad time of year for many reasons, too many to mention, but, one comes readily to mind.
To all those that, for whatever reason cannot be with loved ones, those that have passed over, those that have split apart and those that just don't want to put a hand out and shake it, please don't feel sad. We on this Forum want you to know that you are loved and an important part of OUR FAMILY.
Welcome, take my hand in the manner it is given and I hope you all have a Happy, Holy and very Safe Christmas and a Fantastic New Year.
God Bless from my Family to Yours
Mackka

Good on you Makka, Happy Holidays to you mate and all who you mention in pressured times. Keep strong everyone, 'set the butterflies in your stomach free' and keep in contact :) Anyone is free to PM me or call on my mobile no ( ask in PM for it, if you already dont ), anytime, any day, 24/7 ( literally ) Keep safe :)

Thanks Atom and Ozzie. I am one of the lucky ones that was given a new family 30 odd years ago and I am eternally grateful to my wife.
Merry Christmas every one and just love one another ( even if its only for the one day hehehehehe!!!!!!)

I concur wholeheartedly with the sentiments expressed above.(Merry Chrissy) :D

Thanks Mackka for your heartfelt sentiment, I find myself this year in a position where my wife and partner of 18 years left me 5 months ago with out beautiful kids and she is now apparently happy to be an item with her married boss???.
It is nice to know the lovely people on here stick together as a family. I hope everyone here has a good Christmas and New Years.
God bless.

Well said Mackka

My mum broke her hip last Saturday, her alzheimer's has kicked in extra hard (post surgery) on Monday.

Thus, a special Christmas for us in many ways.

A BIG special Shout Out; to all those that have FAMILY or Friends in Hospital or Nursing homes..

While it is a festive time, for many it is a time of hard work; be they the ones that do not get time off ( Nursing Staff, Police, Ambulance etc) or those that require looking after.

SO if your lucky enough to get out for a swing; have an extra swing, for those that can not.
