sounds like a big job but would be good , it would be like reading 50% of the PA threads all in one book. Good luck I wont be volunteering to organize it though to many headaches involved in that one .

I doubt we'd find the time to assemble it but Mrs M is quite good at editing. She's actually a pain-in-the-arse sometimes when I write something that I want to send out in a hurry. My spelling and grammar is never good enough 8.(

I have just caught up on this topic and love the idea. There are some brilliant tales on the pages of the forum and some great story tellers. Alas I lack the skills required.

I actually started to compile a "Prospecting Australia's History of Australia" from all the brilliant questions and answers in The Duck's Australian History thread. It would be a massive job but I have delusions of getting it done.... One day.

The author she's a young writer from Queensland Brisbane , she is at this stage in UK writing stories about Netherlands and Portugal, she's an award winner in 2013 .
As she is writing in regards to other countries, it is a opportunity to write about own country

I love the idea and it sounds very do-able .
Apart from researching the pages of PA , members can pick their best reads from PA or contribute their own story to a central email adress for editing etc prior to be selected and included.
Could have something like the Good , Bad and Ugly type topics of our hobby.
Be great to get it of the ground and im sure i could throw in a story or 2.

Sounds good ,...... but, not wanting to put a dampener on anything at all, has anyone ran anything by the site owner at all ?
To go ahead with distance from the site everyone would need to write and submit stories, not copy and paste.
If it were to be copy and paste than one would have to look at the legalities of it all and look to take up a signed agreement with Harril, and maybe even Nugget if he retained any intellectual properties that arose before the transfer of ownership of the Prospecting Australia Website ,... sort of like a monetary book deal with the powers that be.
be a shame to go ahead without this sort of pre consideration taking place only to find a gamut of insurmountables on an untenable completion of the works.
Just felt that it must be considered is all.
