He was a true professional today... getting paid to detect. LOL I wish that Paul, his client, had found some pre decs or something really cool but it was a very challenging site even for us "old hands".

1181?? That's definitely pre-federation. Very nice button find Rocket, the example I was just looking at was from the 1870's, so might have a bit of age to it.
Pretty amazing to think that one of these guys might have lost that button - depicts NSW soldiers in 1885.
