Hi people, very new to the forum (been reading for a little while). I'm travelling around Oz and recently purchased a Nokta Legend with no idea of what I'm doing. Also having difficulty understanding exactly where I can use it (Vic seemed very restrictive, NSW appears to be a little more flexibe?). I've got the NSW State Forest Permit.
Currenty in Cowra for a few days, then heading to Orange (thought I'd check out Ophir? Also love fly fishing!). Looking to just find anything of interest. Any genreal suggestions of places to try would be welcomed.
As I'm travelling constantly I won't be looking to extensively explore an area, but will post if I find anything (heading north towards Derby, then across the GRR). So far found 3 x $2 coins and and panned one speck of gold! Another 30 years and I'l have paid for the detector!
