Found this in the river at Coen

Nice. I spent many days as a kid wandering the Lankelly which ran past my Grandmother's homestead. I collected lots of rocks! If only I'd known about gold back in the 1960s. Would love to get back there and find what you have!

A friend of mine just now is trying to get on palmerville and cant even get a reply so he’s pulling up stumps and heading down the coast that was of two days ago, hope this helps

Have to get back up there some time. Keep an eye out for freshly exposed areas of bedrock after the recent rains. In the right spot you can do okay with small hand tools and a pan. Found this with hand tools ( pan, bent screw driver and spoon ) would be interesting to run a sensitive detector over the same spot. Seems a forgotton area now.

Well done, I will certainly try again next time I am up there, just gotta get that right spot. I tried crevassing too !
