Bugger all that I can see here in camp apart from a small tree that fell due to the ground being to wet and a few small branches that could have come one down at any time
Wont know about the site till tomorrow
We havent heard much about Hedland and Whim Creek only the beat up from the media but enough said about them ....

The media here are saying there has been or will be a " dangerous " 4 metre tidal storm surge.

With every cyclone there is a tidal surge
They get a bit worried when High tide and the Storm Surge combine

The News footage seen where the waves breaking over the limestone
wall is along cemetery beach this wall wasnt in place when I lived in Hedland
I have seen waves breaking in that same spot without a cyclone just a high tide

The 2m bund wall is around the Port Hedland Air Port....
If you had a look at where Hedland is built you would see why....
