I remember "many" years ago when I was a young Navy junior recruit.
We were on parade one day, and in our best uniforms, when i was the victim of a bird strike.
Happened just seconds before the Admiral, walking down the lines of sailors, reached me.
Me in my navy blue uniform with a new white stripe on one shoulder and down the front.
Got into trouble for having a dirty uniform on parade. 8.(
