Copperhannia gold panning and detecting

Hi

Want to start looking for gold with my GPX4500 in Copperhannia State Forest looks like good nugget country.

Is there anyone that doesnt mind giving me some advice of areas worth looking.

Hi Alison, I see you have posted this question on fb as well. Firstly most people won't actually know where Copperhannia is and being such an 'off the radar' those that do swing there are unlikely to give you anything other than general directions, and probably to areas they have worked previously or know are duds. Try forestry maps (archived) Digs and trove for REAL research.

Most gold is located along the Abacrombie river and its tributaries ..
