Hey guys I'm wondering about what machine would run best along-side a gpx running a big coil for deep gold for my girlfriend. The sdc2300 looks like a solid bet, I gave an equinox already, my cousin will be running an equinox as it stands.

I guess if you had a gpx with an Evo 13x17, a nox running the 6 for small gold what would be good in between? Will the nox stand up to any of the machines that excel at small gold? I'll be prospecting for a good amount of time this year with 2 others and I want to cover our bases and I feel like if we have 2 noxs running there may be an area that is getting overlooked. Any thoughts on how to make our venture more effective?

Thanks for the input guys. I hadn't considered the 4500 that much but it's worth a look. I'm just concerned over it's ease of use compared to what I hear about the sdc maybe there's a way she can try them out and we can see how it goes. I do like the ability to interchange coils though, I've already got 3 as of now but they are not evos. Either way it would still be more adaptable.

Looking forward to spending some time in the Aussie goldfields.

Yes the scd is turn on and go but IMO I think the 4500 is a better choice 1/ coils are interchangeable 2/ will out depth a sdc 3/ when its set up you hardly have to alter the settings [my mother uses a new 45 she does not alter setting at all it only get ground balanced and the frequency altered by her ,I may have to have a look at it once in a while once in a month or 2 she only uses a 12 evo coil] I have had a sdc but returned to a 45 regards john :Y:
