I'm not sure of the point of this experiment. Creating conditions not found in the earth's natural "operating system" and subjecting them to gold.
What's the point of it, besides saying, 'Let's try this and see what happens to it?' OK, that happened to it... So what now? What does it achieve? :/

sometimes creating a new crystal structure or other molecular form can have application in the electronics & science industries
