hi just wondering what people thoughts are on the Coiltek elite mono 9" round coil on a 4500.
i haven't used my 4500 much but at the moment i have the 8" mono commander coil on it is it worth the upgrade to the the coiltek 9"
is it a sensitive coil to pick up the small tiny bits or should i just leave my commander coil on for now?

thanks

I am not quite sure that an “upgrade” from an 8” to a 9” would be worth spending the money.
I love the 8” commander on my 5000 because it gives me performance approaching the 2300 when I need it.
Unless the Coiltek 9” has some unique performance characteristics it is not likely to outperform the smaller Commander on small gold.
If you are interested in small gold then perhaps consider an elliptical such as a 12 x 8 which should give you similar small gold performance but operational benefits by increasing your search sweep area.
