Coils

I am planning a trip to Murchison area in WA in July. I have a minelab 4500 with 11 inch dd and mono standard coils. I am thinking of buying another coil but am unsure whether to buy a smaller coil or to try for a larger elliptical coil.I am also not sure of the best coil brand to purchase.

Any thoughts on this topic would be appreciated.

have a look at the 14 elite coiltek all good reports
NF are producing a 14 evolution coil as well
I think that any of these coils would be a plus on a WA trip regards john

Agree with old hand above. WA needs at least one medium coil in the collection, and my main go to coil over there is the NF14" spoked round. The new Coiltec and NF would certainly be a coil to look at. I'm keenly waiting for the NF coil to come onto the market, and if the hype is as good as advertised it will be on the shopping list for next winters trip over west.

An 18" NF spoked is also very useful to round out the collection, but if it was only one coil to add for the trip it would be hands down a NF14".
