Chiltern. Parks Victoria blocking access tracks

Just saw on the news that Parks Victoria is blocking the access tracks there by dozing the tracks and dumping boulders on them. There is a story on it in the weekly times.
This is what they are doing despite having said earlier in the year they wouldn't.

I saw similar yrs ago at Maryborough. And Kingower. This action is insane.
Many of these tracks are get outs and ins. Get outs from other areas in bushfires. Get ins to fight the damn things! They just block and block to stop for woke crap and don't think for emergency!
Who in their right mind would block tracks in and out for fire fighting. That picture, are they thinking our CFA drive damn Army Tanks!?
They've lost the plot going green. Let's just think, ok no detecting. Ummm....fire fighters in emergency get outs and ins!???? People camping or sight seeing....get outs and ins!?
They've lost the plot. People will die from these block offs and stops. Regardless of detecting.

Sounds pretty sensible to me. In the event of a fire, the last thing the firies and other authorities need is civilians getting stuck on unofficial, unnamed, unmaintained tracks that they thought might be a quick way out, so now you've got an emergency rescue situation but you're unsure of the location, as well as an out of control blaze.
