Hi UB - after using a GMT I thought you'd be pretty used to listening for gold through the noise :p

Yeah that's what I thought too champ
But I suppose it takes some getting used to
And I didn't use the gmt long enough to get used to it
It takes some training and enough hours out on the field
Which I haven't had much of :)
 
Don't forget to mention !
The xt 1800
The gmt
The sd 2000
The 705
And the 45 in normal and sharp
All have lots of chatter and noise
But all have found me gold !
:D
 
Just goes to show you that using the older or noisier machines & progressing along to the GPX's can be a good learning curve for listening to the right sounds especially through noise.
