Did you use headphones or external speaker when running the 4500 with all that noise?
Takes some getting used to all that noise.......

Yeah that's what I thought too champ
But I suppose it takes some getting used to
And I didn't use the gmt long enough to get used to it
It takes some training and enough hours out on the field
Which I haven't had much of

The gmt
The sd 2000
The 705
And the 45 in normal and sharp
All have lots of chatter and noise
But all have found me gold !

Just goes to show you that using the older or noisier machines & progressing along to the GPX's can be a good learning curve for listening to the right sounds especially through noise.
