We have watched 2 episodes and still waiting on the 3rd and we found it really good though not much gold. A great journey they have had so far doing it the way they did back in the day and a top effort I must add, personally it was a shame one of them couldn't make it to the bottom of dead horse gully (canyon) but just to see the old footage was a great insight. looks like the last episode will be a great watch..

We were over there a couple of years ago and if the tales of how the miners lived are even close to being real it must have been insane times during the rush.

I reckon it would of been pretty insane as well Magilla just going on some of the journal entries that were saved and some of the old pics that went with them, they certainly bred them tough back in those days, Really hope you enjoyed your trip , hopefully one day we'll get there ourselves .

Saw the first episode tonight.

It was very interesting. The basic story is a group of modern adventurers following the route used by thousands of miners rushing from Alaska across country to the Klondike in the mid 1890's. It is a great insight into how tough and determined the rushers were in terrible conditions.
