Whats is made from and area found?

The male end of a press in clasp for cloths or baggage?

was there another flange like at the top where the arrow points at the bottom? could have been the part the holds onto the fabric. if it's looks like it's snapped off it could be how it ended up on the ground.
 
A hint for those interested and the fact that i have miss directed everone.

It is made of rubber and was the cause of equipment failure.

I have seen hard core usage, but this was an eye opener for me.
 
I was gunna say sovereign holder just for the shock value :eek: but if it's rubber then it must have been a bung ! :D
 
YES guys....

The Garrett button was almost 100% worn away...

Have seen a few with a bit of use; but this was almost 100% worn.

That little tag at the top; was all that was left of the actual button....

And when it finally popped in etc the switch was smashed...

So take care and replace your, if it is badly worn; before additional damage is done.

PS: Next time I will use a better pic and better my post.
