you probably got yourself on a banned IP address temporarily , its happened to me before on my mobile, one device said banned and one said logged in at the same time... bloody strange... but i bet you thought it was me.... it wasn't mate there's no reason for anyone to have banned you

Yes, a ban would encounter an IP address 'range' block.

This is to prevent you from using another device (different IP but within same range) to gain access from your same home 'network'. (router)

Sometimes these 'IP range' bans overlap and take out others who are close to this range in IP. Have seen this happen before.

My recent ban prevented my accessing the site on all 7 home decvices linked to our router.(gateway that issues IP's to your devices)

I had to log off the home network, revert back to 4g data access, and then visit as a guest.

This is what would have happened to you Golddigg.....one phone would have been linked to your home router that was issuing IP's within a banned range, the other phone was most likely receiving its IP from your service providers network.

Its no fault of anyones's Chris.....just a temp glitch (oversight) in the software 'host' used to run the forum!

Same happened to me when nugget was on the hospital bed with appendix out. Champion effort had it sorted in no time.
Ip blocking is the issue as aside from a ban.
I know how it feels to come up and think what did I do wrong?
I'm sure collectively pa would have a policy of informing prior in most cases rather than out of the blue.
