Went for an afterwork swing on a Melbourne beach. Found the usual trash and a toy. There were heaps of these small rectangular items every as seen in the pics. Any ideas what they are? Where everywhere.

If those things are magnetic, they may be from galv coated steel work, punchouts for bolts in framework maybe ?

Yep, if they are magnetic I'd say you're on the money Greenhornet. They look like the punch-outs from something like Uni-strut.

I didn't check if they were magnetic. Was only finding them above the high tide mark
