Camping Trip NSW suggestions

Evening all, trying to plan a trip up the nth coast NSW over the xmas(4 weeks) looking for any spot's that are out off the way and maybe a trip up to the Bathurst area for a scratch in the dirt for some yellow. Any suggestion ?
